Hello, I’m Anna. Welcome to my baby photography page.
As a mother of three with a Master of Arts in Photography, I have been specialising in baby photography since 2000.
As a mother and photographer, I am dedicated to capturing this momentous stage in life with all its joy and beauty, knowing these images of your baby and family will be enjoyed for years to come. I have exhibited my photographs in Europe and Australia, was the featured maternity photographer in Antonia Kidman’s television series “From Here to Maternity” and have had my work published in a range of publications including “My Nikon Life”

Baby Photo Session
From around three months of age, your newborn has transformed into a gorgeous baby and their loving and cheeky personality starts to emerge.
At this age, babies are awake for longer periods, more aware of their surroundings and more responsive to family members. This is a magical opportunity for me to capture your baby’s development and the joyous interaction you share as a family. Best of all, I can catch those beautiful fleeting expressions of curiosity, surprise, delight and adventurous spirit.
How to book in
You can enquire via email or give me a call to book a date. We can also have a chat on the phone or email beforehand so I can answer any questions you may have before booking. A $190 Creative Fee is due when booking your session. This fee is non-refundable but transferable to another date. I will email you a link so you can book online.
Pre-Shoot Consultation
After booking, I will email you with more detailed information about the session. Feel free to give me a call or email with any questions or ideas you may have. If you have any specific images in mind, let me know, so I can make sure we capture these for you as well.
Editing, Viewing, and Ordering
After the shoot I will carefully edit your images, creating a black & white and colour version of each photo. The images will be uploaded to a private password-protected online gallery for you to view in the comfort of your own home approximately one week after the session. From there, you can choose your favourites and select the collection that suits you. Your images will be ready approximately one week after you place your order.
Retouching
The images that your order will then be individually retouched/photoshopped again in more detail. This can include things like the removal of stray hairs, spots on the baby’s skin, etc.

Baby Photoshoot FAQs

Baby portrait sessions are usually done between 3 months and 9 months of age. Each phase of babyhood offers different opportunities for a beautiful photo session. As you can imagine, it is best to do the shoot before bub is crawling!

There is no time limit, however, the baby photography sessions usually go for about 1 - 2 hours. This time frame allows the baby to set the pace, so you and your baby both stay relaxed and have fun together, with plenty of time to take a break whenever bub wants a feed or needs to be settled.

As well as any favourite outfits you have for your baby, it is also lovely to do some no-nappy shots, so bring a change of clothes for yourself and anyone else who is going to be in the photos in case you get peed on!
If you have any bloomers that you can put over the nappy bring them along (but they are not essential), plus anything else you would like to incorporate in the photo, such as a soft toy, blanket, hat etc.

Yes, the session can include siblings, parents and grandparents.

Baby Photography Prices and Packages
The Creative fee is $190 - this includes the photoshoot, editing of images, and your private online gallery.
Packages start from $650 with a collection of High Res Images in both Black and White and Colour individually photoshopped, plus a beautiful mobile gallery app.
When Booking a Maternity Session with me, you will also receive a $100 discount off the newborn session.
