MILESTONE EVENTS WEDDING – SOPHIE AND DANIEL

Sophie and Daniel held their Wedding reception at Milestone Events, and the wedding ceremony at North Head Sanctuary Lawn in Manly.

I started the day documenting Sophie and the bridesmaids getting ready at Milestone Events in the lovely lounge room. The girls from The Makeover Dolls were the makeup and hair artist and on the wall hang Sophie’s stunning dress from Kylie J Bridal. 

It is always a special time, photographing the girls getting ready, it is little bit the calm before the storm. 🙂

It is only a few minutes drive up the beautiful Sanctuary Lawn from Milestone Events. The view over Sydney CBD is just to die for. It is an amazing place for a Wedding ceremony.
The expression of happiness and love on Sophie’s face was just so lovely. The wedding ceremony was held by a friend of Sophie & Daniel and Ashley Reynolds.
After the ceremony we did a drone group photo and family and friends photos.

It was quite late before we started the location photos, and we just got in a few shots before sunset, but it was a clear day and the light was just beautiful. I was super exited as shooting in the last light of the day is always so amazing.
We had jumped a fence, walked thru some tall gras an was working on the edge of the cliff with just the rocks and the pastel colours of horizons as backdrops.
When driving past Milestone Events earlier I notice some back-burned bush, Sophie and Daniel agreed to a quick stop of and we got some beautiful photos with the burnt out bush. At that time I was shooting on 9500 ISO, so it was nearly pitch black.

The reception was held at Milestone Events and as always Miles and the team put on a great party. Food was just amazing – thanks guys!!
