Benefits of a Studio Maternity Photoshoot
It is so important to document pregnancy and relish in the transformation, beauty and challenges that comes with growing a baby.
There are countless benefits of a maternity photoshoot in a studio setting, but its not always so obvious what they are. So here are five advantages for pregnant mothers and their families to have their maternity photoshoot in a studio.
1.It’s timeless. Studio pregnancy photography is simply beautiful. The indoor environmet enables your most natural and amazing self to be captured. The essence of your pregnancy can really be retrieved in an image which you can reflect on forever.
2. It’s easy for the whole family. You can bring your partner, parents, friends and any siblings along to my home studio. It’s a beautiful place to be and is homey and comfortable. There is space for younger siblings to play and be occupied while you are being photographed. It’s easy to get to and you can park in the driveway. It is a really enjoyable day out.
3. It is reliable. The session won’t be cancelled due to weather or any other unforeseen circumstance that comes with outdoor sessions. When you’re pregnant this can give you some peace of mind. We all know that the session will take place before your baby arrives.
4. It’s private. Pregnancy photographs can be intimate. A studio session offers you privacy so you can completely relax and have an enjoyable time during the session. You don’t need to have the thought about people looking on in the back of your mind. This safety is also lovely for partners and parents. Feeling safe and relaxed to be photographed makes everyone involved have an enjoyable time.
5. Your partner has options. Sometimes partners come to support the mum or be in some photos. During the studio maternity photoshoot they sometimes choose to wander down the road to grab a coffee and chill in a cafe while I spend time taking photos of just the woman (especially if the couple have brought a toddler). My studio is a 10 minute walk from the shops and makes this possible. You couldn’t do this if you were having an outdoor photoshoot in an isolated location or some studio far away from coffee shops or a park.
