COOGEE SURF LIFE SAVING CLUB WEDDING – MEL AND KABE

Mel and Kabe held their wedding reception at the Coogee Surf Life Saving Club. Coogee SLSC is beautifully situated on the south end of Coogee Beach right on the sand overlooking the ocean and the very appropriate named wedding cake island πŸ™‚

Started this beautiful Sydney summer wedding at the Meriton in Bondi Junction were Kabe and the groomsmen were getting ready. I also photographed Mel and the  girls before heading of to Observatory Hill in Sydney for the wedding ceremony.
The ceremony was held under one of the lovely big fig trees. Kabe and the boys vere pretty nervous, but the lovely celebrant, kept them calm. It was a beautiful ceremony including a wine ceremony were the couple tie a ribbon around a box with a beautiful bottle wine, and a letter from bride to groom and groom to bride writing about their love for each other. If in the future they experience a difficult time the can sit down and share the bottle of wine and read the love letters. It was a lovely little addition to the wedding ceremony.

For the wedding location shoot we photographed on Observatory Hill, a little park in The Rocks just under the Harbour Bridge. It is a great spot and not so many tourist to deal with πŸ™‚ We also photographed at and around Coogee Surf Life Saving Club – what a great spot for wedding photography.

We had a great wedding reception/party at the Coogee Surf Life Saving Club. With an amazing cheese table and a to die for seafood paella.

Mel and Kabe thanks so much for the privilege of photographing your wedding story.
